A good afternoon to chill

The photos for today's post were taken last week in Martin Schweig's backyard on another unseasonably warm day.  I have such a backlog of interesting stories to post but I was told not to make any serious decisions today by the anesthetist at Missouri Baptist (don't buy a house he said…no worries there!); so I am taking a day off. The second stage of the broken foot drama from last Thanksgiving is now over, and I am back in my favorite footwear for a week. 
If I could hobble over to Martin's, I would while away this gorgeous afternoon beside the koi pond. As I snapped photos last week, Martin told me the koi have fed all winter long– which is very unusual–but that's how warm it's been. As always, please stay tuned.
