In a recent press release Carolyn Miles, Owner/Director of Atrium Gallery, announced the gallery's move from 4728 McPherson, above, to the Pierce Arrow Building, 4814 Washington, below. Atrium Gallery's Grand Opening in the first-floor space (currently being renovated) will take place January 16.
"We intend the new space and new programming to be exciting additions to
the cultural scene in St. Louis and and look forward to working with
art lovers here in St. Louis and beyond as well."
The press release follows:
Atrium Gallery will celebrate the New Year in a wonderful and elegant new gallery space in the classic Pierce Arrow Building, 4814 Washington Avenue. The move will also signal a departure of focus. Exhibitions bringing high quality and interesting contemporary national and international artists will be expanded. And, there will be a new emphasis on personal service, introducing people to new artwork and assisting in developing collections. Two days a week will be devoted to private appointments at the gallery, and at client’s homes and businesses. These days will also feature programs and other events, designed to enhance the experience of enjoying and acquiring fine contemporary art. The remaining three days will present regular open hours for drop-in visitors.
With 26 years of experience, assets in terms of relationships with artists, museum directors and curators, active collectors, and other art professionals are extensive. There is much to share with an interested public. We look forward to working more directly with so many people who are seriously interested in contemporary art, and eager to expand their knowledge and acquisitions.
Carolyn Miles, founder, owner, and director is very excited about this next chapter for Atrium Gallery and says the dramatic, expanded new gallery space will enhance this focus very well.
