After Saturday's CWE Flea we headed out to Parker's Table (a vendor at the market) to take Jonathan Parker up on his offer of a glass of wine and very late lunch. We meandered through Forest Park on our way to his wine and artisanal food store in Richmond Heights, and on the way saw a wedding tent set up on the steps of the Grand Basin. I had never seen the site used for a wedding before, have you? Wow! Even on a drizzly afternoon it was gorgeous (except for the blue tarps which were being lashed to the top of the structure at the last minute).
On our way back home, we stopped to take some pictures that I want to share with you this morning.
As we were peering through the tent we were invited inside by the mother of the wedding planner to get a closer look. Before I Do's Jenny Kehm was at the wedding ceremony at the Jewel Box at the time. I didn't feel comfortable asking who was getting married (sorry), but did learn that 150 guests were invited to the reception.
Exclusive Events, Inc. provided fantastic decorations & lighting, above and below.
Paper garlands were strung from the ceiling to the floor.
Artistry Events and Floral Design created stunning floral arrangements.
It must have been magical at night with the lights on the fountains in the Grand Basin and the magnificent Art Museum at the top of Art Hill.
Nicki! Thank you so much for the great blog entry and for mentioning our work!!
