Update on Sunflower Project from Alderman Lyda Krewson

In Lyda's words:

"I thought you might enjoy seeing the sunflower pics from last evening. It was just 5 weeks ago that we planted the 15,000 seeds – many plants are now 2 feet high. 

 

We expect that they will be blooming by the end of July.  We'll have a little toast to the Sunflowers some evening while they are in bloom… Think lawn chairs… cheese & crackers… and beverages. More to come on that.
