Though McPherson Avenue isn't officially designated the CWE's "Arts & Design District," it should be. With the opening of Susan Barrett and Dorte Probstein's stellar projects+gallery, 4733 McPherson Avenue, above, there's even more reason to keep your focus on happenings in the 47-4800 block of McPherson.
Cherry blossoms flanked the entry, above, and red hearts led the way, below, to projects+gallery, devoted to fashion and art.

Artist Hideki Seo and his wife, above, traveled from Paris to install the exhibition and to bask in the excitement of the evening.
The three-dimensional art, shipped in containers, arrived in pieces which were then reassembled over a couple of days.
