In a rush to share a cache of recent photos before month’s end, here are some CWE events you may have missed.
After a year’s hiatus due to last year’s shutdown, Boowood at Bowood was back on Saturday, October 23, delighting families with Halloween-themed activities, including a scavenger hunt. 
Joan Lipkin brought Climate Change Theater Action to McPherson Avenue on Saturday, October 9.
In her press release: “The St. Louis event was part of an international ecology movement representing over 250 events and 30 countries using the arts to call attention to the most pressing issue of our time.”
Participating environmental groups included Great Rivers Greenway, U.S. Green Building Council–Missouri Gateway Chapter, Missouri Coalition for the Environment, Project Animal Freedom, World Bird Sanctuary, Metropolitan Congregations United, Earth Dance Organic Farm School, St Louis Voter Registration Group, 350 STL and more.
Ashleyliane Dance Company performed selections from “Environmental Intelligence.”
Throughout the afternoon there were readings on the sidewalk as well as in McPherson art galleries, below.
Many St Louis theatre artists were involved in the event including, Anna Blair, Donna Weinsting, Dan Kelly, Teresa Doggett, Susan Volkan, Michael Paplanus, Don McClendon, Carrie Hegdahl, Alice Kinsella, Bethany Barr, Hassie Davis, Rachel Mitchell, Jade Collins, Ben Speed, and Elizabeth Lewy.
On Saturday, October 9, Edera Italian Eatery hosted a Night Market on Maryland Plaza and in the courtyard. These photos were taken as the vendors set up their tables.
As the evening progressed, many passers-by were drawn in by a long list of vendors that included: Series 6, King Cookie, Top Bun, Jon Blanco Company, Chouteau Candle Company, Sewn Portraits, Long Story Coffee, Freedom and the Moon, Ivy Three Company, Bark n Sniff, Residential Ghost, Ardently, Amy Joe Pottery, Clay by Tay, Ivy and Ash, Mud City Soaps, Local Foreign, Needlie Upcyclery, The Flower Boy Brand, Butter Love, Small Circle, Remix, and Hollis Leather.
