Signage was installed recently on First Watch’s upcoming new location at the southwest corner of West Pine and Euclid. The breakfast, brunch and lunch chain, based in Bradenton, Florida, operates 9 other locations in the St. Louis area. The site, across the street from Shake Shack and Whole Foods, was formerly occupied by the Gamlin brothers’ 1764 Public House.
This photo of the interior would seem to indicate that the restaurant is close to opening, but when I reached out to the corporate office to request more information I received the following response:
“Right now, they are working hard to get things finished in the Central West End with the projected opening date approaching quickly for early March. We always hope for the best and know our development team is knocking out that punch list to stay on schedule. See you soon!”
For fans of First Watch, the opening—while right around the corner—can’t come soon enough.

Hi Nikki thanks for this information. I thought this was a different location at first. I wonder how this might affect Kingside Diner. I guess we’ll see. I’m glad someone will utilize the space. Always unfortunate when there is a vacancy. Also curious about El Sitio.
Thanks so much for keeping us up to date on everything going on in the neighborhood!! Your efforts are appreciated!
Any word on when or if El Sitio will open?
Thanks again!
Thanks Eric. I’ll see what I can find out about El Sitio.
