While most CWEnders are busy preparing for Thanksgiving, others have been planning activities for Small Business Saturday and the Holiday Window Walk. Witness Maryland Plaza’s crew, Nathan, Doyle and Thomas as they wrestle the traditional holiday tree into place ahead of the Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 3.
What follows is a description of what is planned during the 18th annual event as found on Maryland Plaza’s Facebook page:
Celebrating Maryland Plaza’s 18th Annual Holiday on the Plaza!
In the meantime, Small Business Saturday takes place this weekend, and a list of specials neighborhood businesses are planning can be found here. The eclectic mix of residential and retail makes this neighborhood such a wonderful place to live and visit, and it’s important to show the businesses, including restaurants, how much you appreciate them as often as you can any time of year.
Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed interior designers and artists working their magic transforming shop windows into holiday wonderlands.
The annual Window Walk festivities will take place over three Saturdays, December 3, 10 & 17 from 1 to 5.
Activities are planned for the whole family, including ice carvings, carriage rides, carolers, live music, street performers, pictures with Santa, s’mores, kettle corn and more! Check out CWEScene’s website for details.
Have a wonderful, laid-back Thanksgiving.
