This afternoon I spotted a handsome hawk on a low-hanging branch in the 4800 block of Washington. The hawk was perched not more than ten feet off the ground, where it remained for quite some time before flying off. Spotting hawks in the neighborhood has become almost commonplace, however seeing one this close and seemingly curious about the human activity below, provided a welcome reminder of the beauty of nature around us.
While I was taking my dog for a walk yesterday on Maryland, I stopped to watch a hawk soar above us for several minutes. I wondered what it’s view looked like.
