Dear CWE Residents,
It’s that time of year again, when the leaves change colors and a chill fills the air. The brisk morning breeze also means the Annual CWE Halloween event is right around the corner.
This year’s events are scheduled for Saturday, October 29 and include a Children’s Parade and Trick or Treating, a Dog Parade and the Adult Halloween Party and Costume Contest. We are excited to share the details of this year’s celebration as many enhancements have been added.
• Added Residential and Event Security
• Costume Characters(Children’s Parade & Trick or Treating)
• Complimentary Trick or Treat Bags (handed out after parade)
• More businesses participating in Trick or Treating (noted on postcard)
• After party at Wolfgang’s - following Dog Parade
• $3,000 in Cash Prizes for Adult Costume Contest Winners
The Annual CWE Halloween event is a wonderful showcase of the neighborhood and a great community event.
Careful planning and attention to detail have been given to ensure a safe and successful event for visitors and residents. In addition to the coverage provided by the Ninth District Police, we have also hired police officers to patrol residential streets… Euclid between Pershing Place and Hortense/Lenox and Maryland east of Lester’s Bar& Grill.
Below please find a schedule of events along with street closure details. Please contact us if you have any questons and/or concerns.
Thank you for your support of the Central West End.
Cheers,
Frances Thompson
