Because the neighborhood is doing as well as it is, CWEnders Bea and Wade Crowder were uncertain they would find a vacant space for their annual pop-up sale this holiday season. Just in the nick of time however, they were offered the recently-vacated Herbie’s space at 405 N. Euclid and opened for business last Saturday. When I stopped in this afternoon, the first thing Wade said was, “this place holds a lot of memories.” Indeed it does. However after the Crowders stocked the former café space with their winter merchandise, the pop-up seems to be a perfect fit.
Good-looking fashion hats in assorted colors, above right, are $10, wraps are $20, and Woolrich blankets (not pictured, as they sold out the first day) are $20. More blankets should be arriving any day. Purses, $10, line the former back bar.
There are bargains throughout the shop. Knitted hats are $5, scarves are $10. Three-piece sets that include hat, scarf and gloves or mittens are $15.
There are many attractive two-piece sets of gloves or mittens and scarves for $15.
Brightly-colored scarves, above, are $10, and wraps, back row, are $20.
Holiday Sale at 405 N. Euclid. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 12 to 6, Friday-Saturday 11 to 8. Closed Sunday and Monday. The shop will be open until December 23.
P.S. – Wade mentioned that shipments of new merchandise arrive almost daily, so stop in often.
RIP Wade – you were loved by so many.
He was such a wonderful man. I so agree that he was loved by many. What a terrible loss for the neighborhood.
Its the holiday season–Wade and Bea are back!! And in Herbies to boot! We visited on opening day and it continues to be a go to for holiday presents. More than that Wade and Bea are worth the price of admission–lucky to have you both and your pop up holiday shop back in the hood one more year. Arthur
