We’re so fortunate to have such a vibrant art scene in the Central West End. If you haven’t scoped out Duane Reed Gallery’s current exhibition, as well as exhibitions at Houska Gallery’s and Philip Slein Gallery, make time to head to the McPherson Arts District and check them out.
Duane Reed Gallery’s opening on March 28, featured works by CWEnder Nancy Newman Rice, Luanne Rimel, and L.A.-based painter, ceramicist, and tattoo artist Bryan Burk.

Luanne Rimel, who was formerly Director of Education at Craft Alliance, is photographed next to Firewall, 2024. According to the artist’s statement, Rimel “prints her original photography on silk using a wide-format inkjet printer, layers and collages details, and embellishes sections through hand-stitching.”
