Regrettably, I’m rather late with this CWE gift guide, but I hope my suggestions will help with the shopping that remains. Please shop locally every chance you get, and support the wonderful businesses that have chosen to plant themselves in this beautiful neighborhood.

At Centro
Centro carries Brooklyn-based FS Objects brass candlesticks in 7 styles, $170 to $180, including a pair lower right, that can accommodate a regular candle or be flipped over for votive candles.

L.A.-based Lady White Co 100% wool sweaters, $250, Chup socks, made in Japan of cotton, acrylic, and nylon, $36, are inspired by designs from indigenous tribes around the world. (A friend says they are really warm too.)
Unisex perfumes from FZOTIC, $145, are available in Lamp Black, Monserrat, Room 237, and Five. Lady White Co. 100% cotton pigment-dyed mini-crewneck, $200, and far right, Lava Beanies, handmade in St. Louis by Knitwear Underground, are knit from yarns containing merino, yak, lambswool, and wool, $100.

You’ll find excellent suggestions for gift giving in both the fiction and non-fiction realm on Left Bank Books website. Above, a display of Christmas books for children which range from $18 to $20.
There is also a section devoted to journals, including one featuring Amanda Gorman’s poetry, One Line a Day, a 5-year diary, Mary Oliver’s “This Wild and Precious Life,” Gustav Klimt “The Kiss” Journal, with orange embossed cover, and a pretty plant-covered silver journal, $15.99 to $19.99.
With so many cookbooks to choose from, the shop made it a little easier by grouping the current crop of popular titles together, $35 to $50.
