If you’re looking for something easy for lunch on Saturdays, you can pick up lunch to go on Straub’s patio from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Carol Kyser, left, and Manager LaRetha Johnson were on deck last week offering a choice of Straub’s Webster Groves Smokehouse pulled pork, beef brisket, or burnt ends sliders with Billy Goat Chips, soda or water, $5, see below. A full sandwich with the same accompaniments was $7. Selections will vary from week to week.This Saturday, August 26, Straub’s will feature storemade Hatch Pepper* and regular bratwurst or beef hot dogs, chips and drink, $5. Hot dog or brat only, $3.
*Hatch chiles, described as having a medium to hot bite, are grown in Hatch, New Mexico. For this week’s Chile Fest, Straub’s is offering a selection of roasted peppers, Hatch Pepper Cheese, cornbread and more.
